A Way of Life Acupuncture in Ponte Vedra believes in the ancient method of acupuncture and herbal therapy for alternative medicine. Acupuncture has been used for over 5,000 years for acute, chronic ailments or as a preventive medicine. It views the body as a whole system and identifies where the imbalance lies, which causes the ailment. When the body is in balance, ailments are less likely to occur.
According to the 2009 report published by Society for Acupuncture Research, “Healthcare settings appropriate for integration of acupuncture are: post-surgical healing, neurobiological rehabilitation, pain management onsite and offsite, reproductive services and in oncology as an adjunct for the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as anxiety. Acupuncture can be utilized as a support for outpatient services, treating an array of symptoms of many conditions.”

I was a 31 year old healthy female who was surprised to find out I was infertile after 1 year of trying to conceive naturally. My OB-GYN referred me to a Fertility Specialist where I was told I do not ovulate often or regular- thanks to mild PCOS (Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome) as well as Stage 3 Endemetriosis. (Read More)
