Christine Yastrzemski is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncture
Physician by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She
is licensed in the State of Florida by the Department of Health, License number AP2255. Christine received her Masters
degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Bachelor's of Health Sciences, and Bachelor's of Business Administration from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine and the University of Florida.
Christine has extensive training in acupuncture, Eastern and Western herbs,
tai chi / chi kung, aromatherapy, cupping, moxabustion, tui na, nutritional counseling, meditation / relaxation techniques
and other modalities. She is highly trained in the latest methods out of China, as well
as various ancient methods, integrating both into her practice. She has experience and training in various styles
of acupuncture and specializes in sports injuries. Each treatment utilizes the various styles, giving the patient
a personalized, tailored and effective treatment that works best for them.
She has worked with every type of patients/clients from athletes to the stay-at-home mothers, all who received relief
from the benefits of acupuncture, and her personalized treatments. She is passionate about alternative medicine,
and hopes to encourage others to try alternative medicine and by incorporating a more natural approach into their normal
healthcare routine.
Christine is a diplomate with the National Commission
for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), Licensed Acupuncture Physician in the State of Florida,
and a member of the Ponte Vedra Chamber of Commerce.
She teaches a weekly "Tai Chi / Chi Kung for Movement Disorders" class at University of Florida/Shands
Hospital in Jacksonville, for the Neurology Department. The class is held every Wednesday
at 10:00 am - 11:00 am and is free to attendees.
